WHAT IS LIP BLUSH?

Lip Blush is a form of Semi Permanent makeup, cosmetic tattooing, this

procedure is achieved by depositing pigments in your lips by using a small needle. It is a cosmetic enhancement.

This treatment is designed to define the lips, to enhance the natural lip colouring, correct symmetry and to also add definition and fullness.   This treatment does not create volume or puffiness. With the help of permanent makeup it is possible to de-emphasise age lines around the lips and correct the fading of your natural lip colouring. The colour is customised to every client to achieve the desired effect.

If you've never had any lip tattoos/blush applied before, consultations are not required.

PRE-CARE

PRE-CARE ADVICE

In order for your new lips to heal properly and look their best, these pre-care instructions are of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE. Pre-care instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the treatment. Excessive bleeding during procedure can dilute the pigment colour and lead to poor results. Your skin must be in its best condition.

Please plan your procedure with your schedule/vacations/events! DO NOT schedule when you have an incoming event that

conflicts with healing. You will need 5-7 days heal.

AFTERCARE

IMPORTANT INFO

If you have a history of cold sores you'll need to start taking an anti-viral prescription (Valacyclovir, Denavir (penciclovir), Valtrex or acyclovir (Zovirax), at least a week BEFORE your proposed procedure. Cold sore outbreaks are often triggered by stress or trauma to the lips and skin. Therefore if you are a carrier, lip blush will likely cause an outbreak if you do not take an anti-viral medication prior. Your appointment WILL be cancelled if you have had a history of cold sores and do not follow this instruction (with cancellation fees). This is because cold sores will effect the healing/results and can even lead to scarring. So please do not skip this step, you will be happy you didn't and have better results.

Permanent make-up is not recommended for everyone. Please visit our FAQs to see what can effect treatment
